We Do Not Provide Therapy or Counseling Services
At this time, we do not offer psychotherapy or counseling services directly within our clinic.
We do:
We are happy to coordinate care with your existing therapist or provide referrals to trusted therapy providers in the community.
We Do Not Prescribe Certain Medications Under Specific Circumstances
For patient safety and clinical appropriateness, there are situations in which we may not prescribe or continue certain medications, including:
-
Medications requested without appropriate clinical indication
-
Medications that are unsafe or not evidence-based for a particular condition
-
Controlled substances without proper evaluation, documentation, or monitoring
All medication decisions are made based on clinical judgment, safety guidelines, and individual patient needs—not on requests alone.
We Do Not Provide One-Time or “Quick Fix” Visits
We believe good care requires continuity. We generally do not provide:
-
One-time evaluations without follow-up
-
“Second opinion only” visits without ongoing care
-
Visits solely for documentation without clinical treatment
Our focus is on building a therapeutic relationship that supports meaningful, ongoing improvement.
We Do Not Treat Outside Our Licensed Scope
We practice strictly within the scope of our professional licenses and applicable laws. This means we do not:
-
Provide services outside psychiatric, behavioral health, or family medicine care
-
Offer alternative or experimental treatments not supported by evidence
When We May Not Be the Best Fit
We may not be the right clinic for individuals who:
-
Require emergency or inpatient psychiatric care
-
Are seeking therapy services only
-
Are unwilling to participate in collaborative, ongoing care
-
Are looking for immediate medication changes without evaluation
If we determine that your needs are better met elsewhere, we will communicate that clearly and respectfully.
Our Commitment to Appropriate Care
Saying “no” to certain services is not about limitation—it’s about responsibility. We believe ethical, high-quality care means practicing within clear boundaries and helping patients access the level of care that best supports their safety and well-being.
If you’re unsure whether our clinic is the right fit, we encourage you to reach out. We’re happy to help clarify next steps.
